Maybe Jeffrey Michael Isn’t The Antichrist
Oddly, as if I have nothing else to consider in the wee-hours of the morning… In bed, half-asleep, it dawned on me for the first time that maybe, maybe Jeffrey Michael over at Horizon Realty is just a smart-ass. It certainly makes more sense that way. Why else would someone in his position make such a stupid comment: “We’re a sue first, ask questions later kind of an organization.”
Even stranger now, I wonder, what kind of dumbass reporter would take that comment seriously? If the reporter took the time to clearly indicate that what Mr. Michael was saying could go to print and he didn’t restate his position, then he truly is a duche-bag. Otherwise, and probably more realistic, he was kidding around. I have completely 180′d on my position from yesterday… I think I buy into the Horizon press release that indicates the Mr. Michael’s comment was “tongue-in-cheek.”
If that is the case, I still think the lawsuit is bunk, but maybe Mr. Michael isn’t so much of a douch-bag. Maybe he’s just a wise-ass. Regardless, there probably was a better way to handle this whole fiasco on both sides.
There was no mention of Amanda Bonnen’s class-action lawsuit in the original article yesterday. That probably would have been some useful information to report – dumb-ass reporter.
Seriously kids, can we quit throwing sand and figure this one out?
